We have recently completed our first project at Chatsworth's Carriage House, the award-winning self-service restaurant which is a part of the 18th-century Grade 1 listed stable block. The works involved the creation of a new seating area extension to the existing restaurant by roofing over an external yard area with a glazed aluminium structure supported on a new steel frame. Additionally, there were external fabric repairs to listed walls, modification of an existing stairwell and the internal fit-out of the new structure. Images below show the original courtyard and the completed extension.

The scheme was designed by Koyander Associates of Chesterfield.
